| lemme just start off by saying that tonight was awesome, but more on that later...
anyway, a lot has happened in the last two days. i had a dream that changed just about everything for me.
i havent done this in a while, so here goes. here are a few scriptures that have been on my heart lately...
Jeremiah 31:3-4
|
I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have continued to extend faithful loving-kindness to you. Again I will rebuild you...
you know, in general, we tend to view the word "have" as past tense. but here it speaks in a past, present, and future tense. it's sometimes humbling to think in a sense of..."He loved even when i ______?" - and to realize that the answer is, "Yes, I loved you even then." we as humans cannot fathom unconditional love. it's not something tangible to us...we can't even begin to grasp it...but we do understand redemption. redemption is such a beautiful thing...

"What do you think? If a man has 100 sheep, and one of them goes astray, won't he leave the 99 on the hillside, and go and search for the stray? |
- And if he finds it, I assure you: He rejoices over that sheep more than over the 99 that did not go astray."
this one, though spoken in reference to children, i believe is true with everyone else...the same story is told in the Prodigal Son... |
alright. i'll just close with the lyrics to the new song. |
"Faceless Man" by Creed
I spent a day by the river It was quiet and the wind stood still I spent some time with nature To remind me of all that's real It's funny how silence speaks sometimes when you're alone And remember that you feel It's funny how silence speaks sometimes when you're alone And remember that you feel Again I stand, Lord I stand, against the Faceless Man Again I stand, Lord I stand, against the Faceless Man
Now I saw a face on the water It looked humble but willing to fight I saw the will of a warrior His yoke is easy and His burden is light He looked me right in the eyes Direct and concise to remind me To always do what's right He looked me right in the eyes Direct and concise to remind me To always do what's right Again I stand, Lord I stand, against the Faceless Man Again I stand, Lord God I stand, against the Faceless Man
'Cause if the face inside can't see the light I know I'll have to walk alone And if I walk alone to the other side I know I might not make it home Again I stand, Lord I stand, against the Faceless Man Again I stand, Lord I stand, against the Faceless Man
Next time I see this face I'll say I choose to live for always So won't you come inside And never go away Next time I see this face I'll say I choose to live for always So won't you come inside And never go away
Again I stand, Lord I stand, against the Faceless Man Again I stand, Lord I stand, against the Faceless Man Again I stand, Lord I stand, against the Faceless Man.
alrighty, well all of you have an awesome sunday and great week!

| well i've been way packed with school/drama/procrastination/sleeplessness/over-all-gayness. and irony has set in as i now have the inability to go a day without picking up a guitar and playing for 3 straight hours...and write...and write....aaaaand write some more...yeah you get the idea.
a wise monk once said, "he who walks softly and carries big stick wins the war he did not wage"
*GONG*
what that had to do with anything upto this point, i dont know...however, i do know that it's a horrible idea to procrastinate and give yourself excuses in during the hardest semester of your high school career. so those of you who havent hit the senior/cenial/doomed-for-procrastination period yet...beware. live it up while you can because being a senior aint all the cheese and crackers it's cracked up to be. it's more like watching a tv through the window from outside a store...
i'll just let that one kinda sink in for a bit....
love everybody - T

| for too long people have gotten the wrong impression about koalas. so, this is to help clarify...
A Clear and Present Danger by Ty Snelson
when you think of koalas, you probably think of some cute and cuddly animal with funny looking ears...
<---- dont let the face fool you...
and its really not your fault that you think this. koalas have gone to very great extents to make sure their image stays cute and friendly...
...and so far it's worked.
however, beyond their fuzzy ears, odd shaped noses, and funny little smiles, koalas (not to be confused with wombats)
---- notice the differences. wombats are cool.
....have a very dark and scary secret. they happen to be very sly and clever little creatures...and they also happen to be ferocious beasts that attack without warning!
<--- this is just one of the many victims, poor soul....
yes, people, i'm afraid you've been lied too...so the next time you see a little "harmless" koala (which is most likely just a decoy, such as this)
<-- obviously NOT a koala...
beware...for it is likely that there is a ferocious spawn of satan hiding behind the bush right next to you, and then in a split second...*BAM* KOALA ATTACK!!!
so there you have it...i know it must be a hard truth to swallow, but it is a very clear and present danger. please sign my petition to the White House to end the rule of terror by these weapons of mass attack.
for more information, you can email me at: youarearetardifubelievethis123@koalaattack.com
thank you for your time,
Ty

| oh my good lord it's killin me that i dont have something to play right now...all the instruments are at dads...gah.
anyway, things are going good i guess. im getting things back on track, finding that part of my Father i am not. im starting to get where i want to go. well, except in the "find a good girl" category, but i think i pretty much give that one up until something happens. and i cant define that "something" lol so dont ask unless you want a jumbled and confusing answer.
well i hope all of you are having a good week and all that jazz. later days.
love everybody - T | | |
